Mixture of up and down hill.
Suggested start off Jolliffe Road, then finish down on Pawsons Road.
This fantastic advanced trail has kept evolving through various forest harvest cycles since the trails inception. The one constant has been the red rocks which give the trail its name. The trail has great variety, starting with a short steep climb from the high point of Jolliffe Road.
The descent is rocky, then smooth, fast, then tight. At the junction about three quarters of the way down either take Eeny Meny or continue down the recently reformed section which includes big berms, roll over table tops and a technical rock section.
The trail exits onto Upper Dog Stream Trail just above the junction with Pawsons Road.
